Guided by light, driven by dreams, and ready to fly.

About

Hi, I’m Ember — that’s my pen name.
(I write under Ember because she’s the version of me who dares to show up.) part dreamer, part overthinker, recovering perfectionist, and someone who once tried to find purpose by chasing airports, job titles, and just a bit of peace.

This blog is a soft landing place for all the versions of me — the one who vents to her dog about traffic and heartbreak, the one who finds God in whispers, and the one who still doesn’t have it all figured out… but shows up anyway.

I’ve been to places that have shaped who I am today.
From the vibrant streets of Phnom Penh, to the peaceful shores of the Maldives, and the ever-shifting life I lived in Dubai, each one holds a piece of me.
Closer to home, I find comfort in the mountain air of Baguio and the quiet waves of Puerto Galera.
Every place has left behind a lesson — and I hope to share those lessons here.

Why I write?
Because once upon a time, I was sad. Discouraged. Stuck.
And in one of those low moments, I stumbled upon a blog — a funny comic, a quote, a small story. It didn’t fix everything… but it made me feel lighter. Less alone. And I told myself,
“If someone’s words can do that for me… maybe one day, mine can do the same for someone else.”

So this is me — passing it forward.

Ember Fire And Soul is a collection of reflections, stories, spiritual ponderings, and soft realizations — written not in perfection, but in presence.
Not because life is always calm, but because it still holds beauty despite the mess.

I write from a place of searching — not because I have the answers, but because I believe the search itself is sacred.

Yes, I use AI as a tool, not a creator.

My visuals are AI-assisted, but all my stories, characters, and captions are written by me. I describe the scenes in full tone, mood, lighting, facial expressions and use AI to help bring them to life visually, the same way someone might work with an illustrator or animator.

So whether you’re here for Susan & Oishi, for quiet reflections, or simply because you’re navigating your own in-between —
welcome.
Maybe, in some way, you’re finding something too.
