What is Ember Fire And Soul about?
This blog is a quiet space for honest reflections, personal lessons, and faith-filled reminders. I write about longing, healing, growth, and the gentle unfolding of life sometimes with humor, always with heart.
Why are the posts so raw or personal?
Because I know what it feels like to be alone with your thoughts. I want to reach someone out there who might be quietly hurting — and remind them they’re not alone. That someone else understands.
Are these stories true?
Every story is emotionally true, even when it’s told through metaphor or fiction. Some posts come straight from my life, others are shaped through characters like Susan, Oishi, or the staff of The Signal Co. (The Questions They Carried series).
While the events may be fictional, the questions they ask grief, regret, doubt, faith are questions I’ve wrestled with too. These stories are how I process the hard things. Sometimes with humor. Sometimes with tears. But always with honesty.
So no, not every scene “happened” but every line carries something real. That’s the kind of truth I care about.
Can I share your work?
Yes, please feel free to share! If something speaks to you, you’re more than welcome to quote it or pass it along just kindly include credit and a link back to the blog so others can find the full piece too. If you’d like to repost a full entry somewhere, just reach out first. I’m friendly, promise. 😊
You see, I once stumbled across a post that lifted my spirit when I needed it most and I’ve never forgotten that feeling. That moment of “someone else gets it.” So if something here can be that small light for someone else… please, pass it on. I know what it feels like to sit alone with your thoughts. I just want to remind someone out there that they’re not alone — someone else understands.
Do you use AI?
Yes, I use AI as a tool, not a creator.
My visuals are AI-assisted, but all my stories, characters, and captions are written by me. I describe the scenes in full tone, mood, lighting, facial expressions and use AI to help bring them to life visually, the same way someone might work with an illustrator or animator.
I also use AI (specifically, Kael, my no-nonsense, poetic co-pilot) to help refine my writing. He doesn’t write my stories, I do. He helps clean up my grammar, tighten my flow, and make sure my voice lands the way I intended. Especially when I’m emotionally typing at midnight with too many feelings and not enough commas.
I’m open about this across all my platforms because storytelling is sacred to me. The heart behind every post is human, and AI simply helps me shape what’s already there.
Is The Signal Co. a real company?
Not even close. The Signal Co. is a completely fictional workplace where judgmental dogs, emotional women, and mysterious interns solve everyday chaos all without an actual internet plan.
