🔔 Susan, Oishi, and the Wedding That Wasn’t Hers

On a rainy day filled with weddings, donuts, and melodrama, Susan finds herself laughing, gasping, and whispering into the fur of the only man who never leaves her side: Oishi. “God… when will it be my turn?

When your office crush gets engaged and you cope by yelling at strangers in a park, only one thing makes sense: siopao, soft tissue, and a dog named Oishi who absolutely did not sign up for this drama. A comedic tale of heartbreak, KFC, and emotional support floofing.

When a typhoon traps Susan and Oishi indoors, it starts as a cozy day of hot cocoa and cartoons — until a flood alert turns their weekend upside down. Chaos, generosity, and a bandana rescue mission follow. Narrated by your favorite philosofurr, Oishi.

Oishi’s barkday was supposed to be peaceful. Chill. Full of chimken. Instead, it turned into a social apocalypse of belly rubs, party guests, and emotional whiplash. From shopping cart royalty to birthday deity, join this Pawtherapist as he sniffs through chaos, snack battles, and one hooman’s attempt to throw the most extra barkday bash in canine history. Susan wakes up to find her kitchen turned into a United Nations of emotionally damaged animals, while Oishi chairs an emergency “Barkimony” after saving The Fishball Sea. Meet Bulgogi the tiny logistics horse, Bibimbap the panicking elephant admin, Budd the ABBA-loving K9, and the rest of the furball diplomats as they process trauma, hunger, and climate change… all before Susan’s first coffee.

Kap Angel (your heavenly narrator) rewinds us to a chaotic “Great Lechon War” in Heaven where Anghelito and Angelusito bicker so badly they cause a whole kitchen disaster. God steps in and assigns them a discipline mission: go down to Earth and look after Susan and Oishi—because apparently they’re all the same level of chaotic. Jesus gives them a serious send-off about entering a broken world and staying kind anyway. Cut to Earth: Susan and Oishi investigate weird bathroom noises… and they find Demonyito, a tiny demon with a plunger whose whole plan is to make their lives mildly annoying until they snap. Susan & Oishi thought the drama was over after chasing a purple demon in a bathrobe through their house… until a crash in the backyard announced the arrival of two very tired-looking angels.

Enter Anghelito, Heaven’s Pilot, and Angelusito, barbecue enthusiast and part-time guardian. Between Demonyito’s tempting offers (siopao, hot pink car, chicken every day) and the angels reminding Susan about “turning the other cheek” and debt until the next Jubilee year, this episode is all about choosing differently when shortcuts look shiny—and remembering we’re not as alone as we think. What is the meaning of Christmas? 🎅 🎄 🎁 ✨

In this Christmas story, Susan and Oishi ride the chaotic December wave—parties, food, gift-giving—yet Susan still feels strangely empty and starts spiraling into comparison and “Lord, where’s my miracle?” thoughts. On a quiet 3 a.m. walk, Angelusito shows up and points her back to Luke 2:1–20: Christmas isn’t primarily about presents or a perfect life—it’s God coming close (Emmanuel), choosing humility (a manger), and bringing a deeper kind of hope and peace for people who feel small, overlooked, or still waiting. By Christmas Day, Susan’s heart shifts from chasing “what I don’t have” to gratitude, worship, and noticing grace—ending with a sincere prayer (plus one very Susan-style PS), while Oishi proudly confirms: she finally gets it.

Susan and Oishi finally have a perfect burger-and-Detective-Agency morning… until a bold blue fly lands on their food and starts terrorizing the house (yes, even the toothbrush). They launch “Operation: Blue Fly Trap,” successfully trap it in a jar, and go buy burgers again to recover from the trauma. Three days later, a whole Fly Nation shows up at the window protesting “Justice for Fly”—turns out the trapped fly called reinforcements like a tiny mob boss. Susan grabs Baygon for a final battle, but the flies wave a peace treaty: they’ll leave if Susan fixes the real issue—leftovers, dirty fridge, and missed trash. Susan cleans the house like it’s repentance day… then they celebrate with burgers again—until Susan realizes she forgot her wallet.
